An interview with TJ Harker, author of the upcoming book about why an innocent man is serving 22 years in prison and his trial subverted rule of law while indicting America (69 min)
In an update, yesterday the scumbag mayor of Minneapolis dedicated Memorial Day to George Floyd. I assume the book goes into this but the trial was characterized by misconduct by the judge, the prosecutor, at least one juror, and the police department. And let us not forget Bill Barr who torpedoed a potential plea bargain reprising his role in the Rodney King debacle.
As an emergency physician and attorney who also has some experience as a wrestler and interested in the Floyd death case from the beginning, I did demonstrations on video put up at Rumble that showed why the restraint was not lethal. I also looked at the autopsy information and found the evidence necessary to conclude the most likely cause of death was cardiac arrest--Floyd had a bad heart, struggled, had some stimulating methamphetamine on board and he died when his heart developed a lethal bad rhythm.
I was worried that Mr. Harker was confused about the toxicology of fentanyl and speedballs (meth and fentanyl of heroine). Sure nuff, he didn't get any good help on the medical issues.
A dedicated fentanyl addict like Floyd is not inclined to like speedballs that include a stimulant to keep them awake mixed with an opiate to make them sleepy. Fentanyl ods fall asleep and stop breathing over a period of time, they don't struggle and resist and then die quickly. Fentanyl addicts like Floyd develop a tolerance so they don't OD on a level like he had--11 nanograms--that's a walking around level of intoxication.
Mr. Harker e doesn't understand that opiate ods don't worry that they can't breath and they aren't very good at resisting arrest or even resisting sleep. They don't worry about anything--they are under the influence of a narcotic. Floyd's complaint he couldn't breather was because he was anxious and hyperventilating and it was part of his drama queen act when he was confronted by police.
The episode with officer Creighton in 2018 resulted in him being taken to the hospital because he resisted, got excited, also said he couldn't breath, and when he got to the hospital his blood pressure was very high--that was a no surprise--he had high blood pressure anyway, it just went higher because he was upset.
As for a blood choke--another discussion that missed on the medical aspects--a choke requires a constricting force because the carotids are flexible and not rigid. Pressure on the back of the neck doesn't constrict. The maximal restraint technique (MRT in the MPD training manual) was pressure on the shoulder and back with both knees employed. The force was mainly on the scapula, not the neck.
Mr. Harker was right--Floyd was dead at the scene from a cardiac arrest, he needed a defibrillator.

I appreciate you energetic inquiries and gathering of information. I was not aware of the prosecutorial flip flopping on cause of death and their effort to push a blood choke--you see why that was stupid--a choke hold is a very specific strangle hold that is accomplished what a garotte would do, create constriction. Pressure on the posterior neck cannot kill unless the pressure breaks the spine and crushes the critical structures. Autopsy found no lethal injuries.
I did the second video (both on Rumble) with me (79 yo 160 pounds 5-9 10 minutes, constant pulse oximeter) and the restrainer a local LE officer Floyd's size. Incidentally Floyd was measured at autopsy at 224 and 6-4 and Mr. Chauvin told me his DL said 6-6 which is easily explained--measuring height on a slab isn't always accurate. Chauvin worked with Floyd at the saloon so he knew 6-6 was the right height.

TJ Harker’s American Scapegoat argues the viral video did not show the whole story, the trial subverted the rule of law, and the evidence did not prove murder beyond a reasonable doubt. The Floyd myth became an altar. America was ordered to kneel.
Richard - I actually take the argument a step further. Not only does the evidence fail to prove that Derek Chauvin was "not guilty," but Chauvin is affirmatively innocent. He was not the cause of George Floyd's death.
Preceding the George Floyd case, there was the case in FL and then the case in MO involving deaths of blacks that evolved into national riots and major MSM coverage. There was a nationally known black lawyer involved in all the cases that was credited with fomenting the violence and media coverage. I do not remember the names, but way too little attention was given to that lawyer and who was funding him. I wonder if the SPLC was involved.
