The judge presiding over Trump’s case is Juan Merchan. His daughter Loren Merchan worked for both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ campaigns as president of Authentic Campaigns, a progressive digital marketing firm. In a republic with a real justice system, he would recuse himself from this case and spare his daughter’s blushes. Since we now live in a banana republic and he has not, they shall face ridicule and memes. Democracy dies in the darkness!
In its predictable pattern, the Left is freaking out that Conservatives have “pounced” on the Merchan family’s blatant conflict of interest. Loren deleted her LinkedIn profile (archived here), but seems to have forgotten to delete her Facebook profile. Not a single journalist dared journey into the Meta clown world’s heart of darkness. Fear not - I have snagged all of the cringiest photos for you to admire today. Here’s a sneak preview:

This gets to the illegitimacy of their case against Trump. But then, legitimacy is not an issue for them, *only* outcomes.

There's no chance that the Trump jury is going to vote NOT guilty.
The only way they don't vote guilty -- is if the case is dismissed. Which I don't think it will be. I believe that they [Bragg and his handlers] wouldn't have gone this far -- unless they *knew* that the case would go to trial, and they could get a conviction on some nonsense charge, because that's the only outcome that doesn't damage their political position.
We all know it's nonsense, but these leftists don't care about the law. They'll make up the law at this point to get a conviction -- even if they know it will be overturned on appeal.
