How To Groom Commissars (Part 2)
The progression of commissars from Rhodes Scholarship to Current Thing BS Job to CEO, plus the first letter-writing campaign to hold commissars accountable
Comrades: Get to know your overlords. In Part 1 of How To Groom Commissars, I shared my direct experience with college struggle sessions. Today I will profile commissars on every step of their evolution after graduation.
The Rhodes Scholarship used to be prestigious, but now it’s just another commissar grooming operation like the Ivy League. Alums include Bill Clinton, Pete Buttgieg, Cory Booker, Bobby Jindal, and Ronan Farrow. The largest employers of former scholars are McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, and Google. Revolver News did a savage deep dive on how the Rhodes lowered the bar with an easier interview process and new focus on BLM/DEI/LGBTQ.
My favorite profiles from the latest class of court eunuchs:
Rhodes’ Dr. Karen unironically opens her essay about “unlikeminded” leadership with presumptuous statements about every current thing: Jan 6, Drumpf, BoJo, Russia, COVID, climate. Does she realize that the decline of trust in institutions comes from their groupthink and censorious stances on all of those topics? Of course not.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 is a pipeline of precocious criminality:
I have put the rest of this post behind a paywall because it will be extra spicy and revealing. At the bottom, I hope you can join me in the first Yuri surgical letter writing campaign to hold some of these commissars accountable and slow the spread of the woke mind virus. Taking action will be the focus of 2023.
