Comrades: Social media power users believe that they are making friends and influencing people, but in reality they are broadcasting and worsening their mental illnesses. Dr. Ashwin Vasan is the newly appointed Commissioner of Health for New York City, which means he is now in charge of over 8 million poor souls. He proposed forcing children aged 2-5 to remain masked indefinitely until they receive their experimental injections, but the mayor intervened and put an end to the madness (though not until April 4). His main rationale is that he wants his own kids to stay safe. A self proclaimed mental health leader is pushing the destruction of children’s mental health and abusing his own children.
As predicted, his LinkedIn profile is a case study in red flags and cringey flexing. I have seen thousands of profiles, but this is one of the worst. Let’s start from the top.
Douchey profile and cover photos? Check. Pronouns? Check. Multiple titles? Check. Hashtags for social justice? Check. Collar stay? Nope.
Posts about being “deeply honored and humbled”? Check. Biography that wins buzzword bingo with “Intersection, marginalized, leverage, upstream, equity”? Check. It sounds no different than RISD’s new BARRP Commissar, who likely shares 90%+ of the same opinions.
At this point, my eyes have glazed over. The credentialism and resume style bullet points are just too much. According to an investigation, much of it is falsified and exaggerated as he created toxic work environments. But wait, there’s so much more…
