I say it again - ALL of that originates with the Chinese Communist Party.
Trump's election will forever be the exception that proves the old saw about being able to vote your way into socialism but having to shoot your way out. Iran is just the latest front in a silent Great Power struggle between China and the US. Closing the border, Hegseth going to Panama and re-opening the JWTC down there, the Chinese company building a bridge over the canal getting dumped, closing the border, Maduro getting black-bagged openly, and now Iran - a Chinese proxy - is just the latest in Trump's dick-kicking of China. He doesn't want a ground war there - what he wanted was exactly what's happening now: a shifting of oil demand to the US and (now US-controlled) Venezuela. The IRGC closing Hormuz doesn't hurt us at all because we're an oil exporter, but it's a BIG problem for China.
Seen in the proper light, Iran isn't a "problem"; it's the inevitable next step in a series of tactical actions that net to an obvious operational campaign against our greatest enemy, the PRC.

It is said that democracies can't fight a Seven Years War. We are about 7 weeks into the kinetic phase (although at the 47 year mark for the war at large) so we are nowhere near the Forever War threshold. Should we cross that we do indeed have that problem. A leftist takeover here is indeed a threat and it was before the war and indeed before Trump. He and others have broken the momentum but ""Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."

Just the fact that so many leftist criminals in the government branches have not been brought to justice, that election integrity is not achieved, that multiple millions of invaders have not been removed and that the mass fraud and theft in states like California and Minnesota are still in place with no real effective way to reign those states is damning based on the election promises that Pres. Trump made. Trumps trolling and hyperbolic statements are a problem. His ego gets in the way, but, we knew all that about him since he came don the escalator in 2015 or 16. WE voted for him 3 times because we saw that he really was the only game in town.
