Just read and listened to this post. Went back to this because I had a Yuri friend when I lived and worked in Toronto years ago. I envied him as it seemed his Chinese culture involved helping each member of the family succeed. For example a sister would support a brother so could get a university degree then vice versa happened. Education was very important to Yuri 2’s family members. Yuri2 eventually married here then moved to California where some relatives had moved to earlier. It appears Chinese culture has strong family bonds something we sadly seem to be moving away from. Your family history seems to bear this out. Be proud.
I'll be with you in spirit at your Escape From NY get together. To attend I'd have to take a couple of jetliners which we all know are staffed by affirmative action-type pilots. I don't think melanin content or myocarditis should be a prerequisite for flying a large plane. Have a cold one for me!
Great podcast. Much love to your father & family. Now here you are providing us wonderful content pushing back against the Reset Revolution’s censorship. May all the babies in the Yuri family be blessed by a legacy of tenacity.
Please explain: You're saying that Yuri Bezmenov (Sr.), the Russian Soviet defector whom you have pictured as your profile photo, is your father, right? But yet you are saying that he is Chinese and lived through the Chinese cultural revolution, right?
Happy Father’s Day, Yuri! Thank you for the wonderful photos. I particularly love the one of your dad and his brothers in the 1920s—why are little kids in hats so adorable? Looking forward to enjoying the podcast and hearing from your brave dad.

Your dad is such a bro (in the best way possible)

Curious but did you ever have WeChat and were you also banned as I am?
CCP gonna CCP
Never touched WeChat or TikTok
I know, I know. But it was an easy way to stay in touch with friends and family in China.
Once Covid hit I was banned permanently.
Great episode. Great family. I was looking forward to listening to it all day.
Can’t wait to listen!
Reporting back. Great stuff.

Yuri Sr is my Chinese father, neither of us has any biological relation to Yuri Bezmenov. I am carrying on his spirit.
Nom de plume. I thought it was obvious. Great piece.
Wow. I'd never seen this. Thanks for sharing.
This discussion with your dad is great. I really hope more people hear it.
Thank you. He's a legend. I'm just trying to live up to it.
