Thanks Yuri, and Happy Thanksgiving to you 1 I am grateful for my cabin in the woods, the animals, the birds singing, the stars in the sky, and for recently refound friends. I am thankful for all you here on Substack, supporting each other and shining light where it looked dark! May we all find back our lost friendships and may all the hardheaded people's hearts melt and embrace their family and friends again ! May we find peace.

Lovely, Ingrid. All the best for you and yours. To all readers - what are you most thankful for?

I'm most thankful that both my parents are still alive and active (88 & 86) and that the grandkids know them so well. Whenever we get together, it's a big laugh-festival.

When we are surrounded by a world fallen into darkness, we are to shine our lights ever more brightly. Have a wonderful holiday.

Grateful for all of you! You understand this greatest experiment in the history of man - as one of many that stood a post while you slept - thank you.

Also, your wit and wisdom surmised by this quote: “I am thankful that the darkness of the early 2020s led me to find the light of our Lord and see the difference between good and badass Germans.” Sposeba!

Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Perverse soul that I am, I enlarged your picture to see how many people were armed. This has been my practice since perusing Thanksgiving illustrations in children's books when my kids were little. I could detect one or maybe two swords but no long guns, bows or tomahawks. This is way below the norm for such pictures. I have always assumed that such pictures accurately reflect the culture of the time. Militant that I am, I have never eaten dinner with a slung rifle.

You know the Scooby Separatists? You know, the ones who were repeatedly thrown into dungeons for not paying tithes to the Church of England, headed by the King? And who petitioned the King for exile, who let them go to Holland? And who later sailed away to a wilderness? They got blown off course, and ended up far from the small settlement they were aiming for, so started their own, known for generations as Plymouthe Plantation.

Six of the men at that dinner, armed or not, were ancestors of my husband.

God bless you and your family, Yuri. Isn't following Christ the most satisfying thing you've ever done? Since my own return to Jesus (thanks to the covid era) the richness with which I see everything in my life and in the world threatens to overwhelm me, daily, with amazement and thanks. And I can't get enough of reading the Bible. It's become food to me, and the way it nourishes and builds understanding, knowledge, wisdom, and discernment is beyond anything I ever expected. God is so good!

I am thankful for our liberty despite the many threats to its continuation , and for being born in this shining beacon on the hill. As Lee Greenwood sings so beautifully “GOD BLESS THE USA” despite the many imperfections of its citizens. I am thankful for family , many good friends, and the fact that I am still young enough to read, listen and learn and recently complete my 46th NYC Marathon at age 82 despite my complete lack of athleticism beginning at age 31 . Thank you Ken Cooper ( the father of aerobics) and your fellow fitness and health gurus for showing me the way to fitness and the truth of the mind- body continuum . And last I am grateful for having the courage and faith in myself to have my midlife crisis at age 26 and change my career to something that I love and will continue to pursue as long as I am physically and mentally able. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL, enjoy the holiday season and be of good cheer .

Happy Thanksgiving, Yuri & family!

As you and others have stated, I am thankful for finding & hearing from the voices of Badass Germans in the ‘Stacks. Every one of us, who answered the call in whatever way we did, helped wake up a friend/family member. Finding each other helped us find our way through. Soooo thankful for the ever growing community of the awakened and empowered. ☺️💪🏻
