Brilliant. I can't even look at some of these people because it's like peering into the pits of hell.

I feel that way, too! Glad to know I'm not alone. These are souled-out cretins, for sure.

Congrats on having a functional amygdala. Meanwhile many people with broken amygdalae look into those eyes and think, “Those people are the good guys and have our best interests at heart!”

Why, just yesterday I was having a conversation about the development of threat recognition in the amygdala, and how it is severely under-developed in our super safe society (and yes our society is very safe compared to the vast majority of others around the world). Most people simply cannot recognize a threat anymore. This can be seen in the various head shaking actions, such as the bike trip around the world to show human oneness that ends with beheading.

I have an overactive amygdala. It causes me problems at times. But it means I know when to cross the street, change train cars, drive in a different road, politely refrain from giving any personal information, when to call for help and when to start giving orders to others because help ain't coming. Others think I'm too quick to judge, but no. I've got people to protect.

Yep! I've been called psychic, but it's just a human nature that was unlearned by many. Add to this, speech patterns... Obama for example reminds me of Clinton, bush like Reagan... All sneaky but in different ways. But if you subscribe to two party/ good guy bad guy politics you'll block that impression from your mind.

The subconscious is it's own supercomputer that was built on many many generations of evolution.

I was diagnosed with Graves and Thyroid eye disease (two different conditions that are often related)

Sanpaka that you refer to is a symptom of Thyroid eye disease. It is called proptosis. A bulging of the eye because of pressure to the Optic nerve, creating a very unattractive “stare”.

I hope I’m not a sociopath 😁

Wasn’t offended but thought you should be informed.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my comment.

I dated a sociopath YEARS ago. My normal life was nearly destroyed. These people are extremely dangerous. I’ve read a few books on sociopaths. There are quite a few in society. I think one book stated it was 1 in 10. Damn!

I also had some bad experiences with sociopaths and narcissists.

From the books I have read on the so called 'Dark Triad', psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists, the estimates are 10% are narcissists, 4-5% are sociopaths, and 1% are full blown psychopaths. All 3 are very similar, and knowing their differences is important.

It makes perfect sense that politics and the military has the highest number of them.

They are all drawn to power and control positions.

Yes, so hard to un-see! Did you ever read "You Are All Sanpaku" by George Ohsawa? He claims these people are in a grave state of physical and spiritual imbalance.

Rae's avatar

Agreed. Adrenal exhaustion and iodine deficiency are rampant in North America.

Keep in mind that Oshawa was Asian. You have to be reaaaaaaly sick to be sanpaku and Asian. I read that book when I was a kid, and I was left wondering if--according to the Author--a caucasian person could possibly ever be be healthy according to Japanese or TCM traditional Chinese medicine. White people are labeled/insulted as "round-eyes" for a reason...

Under-eye circles and sagging skin are unpleasant enough as a health issue, aging issue, allergy, kidney, or stress problem. Unfortunately this sagging or eye-whites symptom may be present in both the perpetrators and their victims, so please, let's not victimize the suffering people even further by labeling them the problem based on nothing but their eyes. (Agreed. The white showing above the iris is the most alarming: see Charles Manson photos.)

The ACTIONS of people make them evil, not simply their eye-whites, tiredness, or iodine/nutritional deficiencies.

What had happened wuz, I woke up this morning and came in to check my emails. Imagine my delight at another screed from my favorite Tovarisch. I read all the way to the Wheel of Fortune, and I see that our "betters" have checked all the blocks. Alex, I am going to use my free spin and try to land on "Love to spit some Beechnut in that dude's eye, and to shoot him with my ole .45."

Right on the money, Yuri. And if one were to argue that sanpaku is only one data point and isn't sufficient proof just look at their behavior over time to confirm the diagnosis. Your chart should be on every doctor's wall...but first check to make sure they aren't on the chart themselves.
