An update on the absolute state of NYC a year after moving out, white pills at the end
Comrades: The 1981 movie Escape from New York predicted the future.
A year ago, my family and I fled the city we grew up in. As a farewell, I documented over a decade of demoralization that destroyed the formerly greatest city in the world. This love letter to NYC remains the longest, most emotionally taxing post I have ever written:
Every morning, we feel relieved to wake up in relative calm outside the NYC Demoralization Zone. Baby Yulia loves having more space and quiet parks to stroll through. She spends quality time with her grandparents every week, who are glad not to deal with the aggravations and danger of the city. We have made new friends. I still go into the city several times a month and have witnessed exponential deterioration. The streets reek of cannabis, urine, feces, and agitprop.
New York City has a brand:
Over the past year, 100,000+ illegal immigrants who are mostly military-aged men have arrived. They cost sanctuary city taxpayers several hundred dollars a day each to house and feed, which will drive the city into a budgetary death spiral and force cuts on critical services like sanitation, education, and police. Greedy real estate owners hoover up government cash to house them, especially the historic Roosevelt Hotel which serves as the main processing center and is owned by Pakistan. America last means paying a foreign country to house illegals.

NYC shall henceforth be known as the Gaza Favela. On almost a daily basis, illegal immigrants and Palestine protestors commit crime and cause mayhem. The only MSM outlet I still read is the New York Post because they cover these local stories and have decent opinion writers, except when they get co-opted by the Murdoch Neocon TDS Mind Virus. Twitter citizen journalists like ViralNewsNYC, CrimeInNYC, and James Curtis Anderson are doing yeoman’s work breaking stories that force MSM to follow. The headlines have been staggering, but you would never know about it if you read NYT/MSM:

Illegal stabbed to death by other migrants in shelter
Illegals fight each other in the Randall’s Island migrant camp, which was built on top of kids’ soccer fields. The few women are intentionally getting pregnant. so they can get upgraded to hotel rooms and have anchor babies
11 year-old girls raped by an illegal
Students forced back into remote learning because illegals are housed in their school’s gym
70+ Senegalese illegals found living in a basement and sleeping in shifts on bunk beds
Palestine protestors block all of the Lower Manhattan bridges and tunnels
Palestine rioters tear down American flags and disrupt Christmas festivities while attacking police
Palestine sympathizers rip off hostage posters
Daniel Penny arrested for subduing a mentally ill subway rider who threatened to stab others
Laken Riley’s illegal alien murderer Jose Ibarra was arrested in NYC for child endangerment but released by DA Alvin Bragg, just like the cop beaters
During a meetup with fellow Yuri comrades, we witnessed vibrancy in action. In the middle of a busy street, two rival gangs of Venezuelan illegals started fighting each other. Homeless men wandered into an outdoor dining structure to panhandle, while polluting the diners with weed and cigarette smoke. The shelters and welfare that should be helping these impoverished citizens are now overwhelmed by illegals.
Mayor “Instagram” Adams does nothing but virtue signal. The self-proclaimed “Biden of Brooklyn” still stands by Sanctuary City status, but was slapped with a Federal investigation after criticizing Biden. He tried suing the charter bus companies in an attempt to block Texas from sending more busloads. Even New Jersey is giving a fat middle finger to NYC, forcing migrants dumped at NJ Transit train stations to head into the city. A Congestion Tax will further worsen relations between the states and strangle commerce. Entering lower Manhattan will cost you $100 between tolls and parking.
Even musicians trying to make the city more pleasant are being attacked:
Sadly, it is only a matter of time until an NPC PMC AWFL or their kids are raped/murdered by illegals/Islamists. Sadder yet, nothing would change. They would forgive the criminals and say all of the platitudes that we shouldn’t blame them or the politicians who empowered them. They would rather die than admit they were wrong, or risk getting smeared as a racist anti-immigrant Islamophobe. You are the problem for saying this is a problem. You cannot reason with a demoralized person. Meanwhile, the kangaroo courts have staged show trials to bring down the one man who is trying to stop the carnage.
NYC still has plenty of white pills.
