I just love this response... “You don’t have an MD or PhD, so you are not qualified to talk to us about anything related to science or medicine. Your job is bullshit compared to ours.”

Since when has it been mandatory to have a MD or PhD to know anything about science or medicine?? In my experience many MDs and PhDs are rather myopic in their outlook as they are either too busy to learn anything new (MDs) or too consumed by their specialisation to know anything outside their narrow field (PhDs). I've deliberately NOT spent years doing a PhD but rather multiple Masters degrees and been an autodidact so I can have a broader appreciation of the big picture.

I find many doctors have just sold out - very little respect for the profession now.

Oh Yuri, another misinformation screed. When are you going to give up your "railing against the machine" and come on in for the big win? Using facts and real statistics against emotion is simply cruel and just...just...Mean! Please remember when you were part of the collective, and consider reintegration. Come on in, the water is fine.

Conversation yesterday with a scientist family member:

Me: "Why are you still wearing a mask if you're triple vaccinated?"

Them: "I will keep wearing them until I feel comfortable."

Me: "When will you feel comfortable taking it off? What data are you using?"

Them: "Stop being mean, let's talk about something else."

It's like being sober at a party where everyone else is blackout drunk from chugging kool-aid.

I broke off with a former friend when they did not want to hear a word about covid anymore, and then started talking about it themselves, and when I answered, they screamed, stop, stop talking about it. Then I hung up. They recently picked up the thread again because they need me. I hope not vaccine damaged, but might be.

If they’re vaxed they are damaged. More or less but no one wasn’t hurt. One shot...maybe not. Three? Nope. They’re hurt.

I have an ex friend that has popped into conversations his desire for me to NOT talk about Trump. Which I never do, or seldom anyway. And never with him. Whereas he does every time I bump into him. Each time telling me Not to bring him up. Followed by him trashing Trump for a minute. Which he doesn’t want me responding to.

Comrade,

After deviously marrying American Capitalist Pig with cancer, I was able to infiltrate and observe Capitalist American Healthcare for nearly a decade. What I discovered was shocking;

1) Capitalist American Healthcare appears to have the highest amount of interpersonal in-fighting imaginable, even more than so-called American Education. They call it 'office politics', but it is not politics of any form we would recognize. Instead of firing squad or gulag for dissidents, they metaphorically stab each other in back often and without warning. The results are far more frightening, invasive, and omnipresent, and should be studied for possible application in quelling dissident satellite states.

2) Capitalist American Healthcare attracts divas and drama queens to a degree that even Bolshio Ballet would say "This is too much...". While I had hoped these divas and drama queens might make good recruits for The Soviet Arts Directorate once Capitalist system inevitably fails, it turns out that while they like to dance and sing, they are not very good at it.

3) Capitalist American Healthcare utilizes a billing system that is astoundingly effective at obfuscating, misdirecting, and charging for procedures and visits that did not happen without anyone ever being the wiser. I suggest KGB study and learn from this system.

4) Capitalist American Healthcare is hierarchical in nature, with administrators at the top of that hierarchy and patients well below any janitor on their first day. This rank system is so rigid, effective, and unquestioned that I suggest the Political Directorate study it for ways to improve discipline in the ranks of our great Soviet Armed Forces.

5) Capitalist American Healthcare seeks pill or potion for everything, every ill, real or imagined. If you are not taking pill or shot, how can you be healthy? Imagine the possibilities, Comrade! If you were to come up with, say, an injection you claimed would prevent a minor cold but instead caused lasting health issues, why you could bring the Capitalist Pigs to their knees!

I hope you find this report helpful, Comrade. Please tell Politburo I tire of this place and wish to come home. I have nightmares of becoming ill at the mercy of incompetent Capitalist American Healthcare and their feeble nostrums, instead of our great Soviet Medical Directorate.

Comrade, you've hit one out the the park. Really well done. I'm sharing to my friends and all eleven of my followers on Gettr (I'm Naughty-Listed on Twatter). Brace yourself for the accolades!

One thing that surprised me is your assertion re N95 masks; it would be news to me if there has been a well-designed study demonstrating any significant effectiveness against aerosol virions. I've seen plenty that demonstrate the contrary.

SARS2 has an average diameter of 100 nanometers, the N95 is designed to stop 95% of particles >= 300nm, and almost all the breath goes around the mask anyway, regardless of fit. Your brother in arms, the eminently cancelled wicked feline El Gato Malo, wrote a good piece on this:

700 million particles in a cubic meter of air. No matter what you wear, unless it is a full on gas mask requires you to breathe in a number of litres of air a day. It is something like 11,000. IE 2200 litres of oxygen in that 11,000. We must get 550 usable litres of oxygen. The other 1650 litres we breathe back out. We breathe in some number of BILLION germy buggy particles every day. You can put a cloth mask in front of you all you like. The same amount of oxygen is needed. Through it, around it, over/under it - that air and its needed oxygen is getting in. If it doesn’t you are oxygen deprived. Which actually happens wearing a mask. Which is why we feel a bit breathless. Which means WE BREATHE HARDER! More particles get breathed in, not fewer.

there is a lot of fear and ignorance in doctors to even look because it might destroy what they thought they knew, there is great pride in training for all those years.

it would be most upsetting to find out that half of what you were taught at college was wrong within 5 years but no one knows which half

Ego and insecurity get worse as people spend more time institutionalized. They can never bring themselves to admit they were wrong and lied to, especially if they are financially incentivized to keep the narrative going like DIE and ESG. We have an epidemic of stubbornness and lack of humility.

Did we not go through all that? What I learned in school is all outdated or rightout wrong. If I showed someone nowadays how we did bookkeeping they might burst out laughing and never recover

its the speed and breadth of change. they spend 10 years training and the first 5 years are out of date already!

mechanics for example changes as technology improves but not at such a rate, i haven't been near a car in decades but 90% of it will be the same.

medicine is a fast moving target and the average doctor is 15 YEARS behind on the research, that's without getting into their blind spots such as nutrition and looking for causes rather than suppressing symptoms

I had a doctor look at me with a coy little grin on her face, in a social situation. ‘Oh so you’re one of those conspiracy types who believe a cabal of people are trying to take over the world’. She said it like I was cute moron. I said ‘Nope. I am a history buff.’ She looked quizzical. ‘There is always a group of people trying to take over the world. Never in history has that not been true. You need to ask yourself who is doing this now? And which methods are they using? Or are you one of these positive thinking Pollyannas who think we can ignore all going on around us?’

Someone said that the USA is the most propagandized nation, yes even more than the USSR. At least most people in the USSR knew it was bullshit.

Here, we have fake freedom of choice as portrayed by the market delusion. Instead of monopolies of corporations, we have monopolies of industries that block any and all competition because money buys power here.

"Why do American citizens have vaccine mandates in order to keep their jobs or re-enter the country, but illegal immigrants and refugees entering the country do not? No scientific reason, just money and power."

There is a financial one, though. Pfizer (for one) won't allow its vaccines to be given to anyone who can sue them, which is why they continue to sell the experimental version under the EUA in the US, even though Comirnaty is approved. The EUA version is liability proof; the accepted version is not. But apparently the EUA liability shield does not apply to refugees and illegals, so not only are they not required to get a vax, they're prohibited from getting one.

But it's not about profit... it's about helping people, right?

I know someone who ended up arguing against COVID policy and lies. Just her and three others, one person who works in a government health institution and another who had. Didn't even try to engage data or the facts. They were literally the "They wear masks outside to keep them safe and show that they are considerate." types. Dodged all critical questioning with moral posturing and virtue signaling.

These are also the same people who, with no irony, complained about doctors not being trustworthy, lying, and just wanting to prescribe pills instead of looking at the problem.

We went FL this past Thanksgiving to see family. One being a practicing physician. Husband and I are unvaccinated. When my husband's cousin who is a doctor (during casual convo) found out we hadn't been jabbed. She got very angry. My husband tried to have a conversation with her about why we had not vaxxed. What we found out was that not only did she not have a clue about how the mRNA vaccine worked, when my husband tried to explain it to her she became enraged, told him that she was the doctor and stomped out of the house in an ugly display. She said some pretty terrible things to my husband who was nothing but kind to her. He did not try to humiliate her or talk to her like she was an imbecile. He just wanted her to understand what she was injecting, how it worked and what could theoretically happen down the road. I cannot help but think there is mass delusion. When have we ever dosed up pregnant and lactating women with experimental vaccine much less for a virus that will not likely kill a young mom? Madness.

After reading through your post a couple of more times, I have to vent. The terms "Surreal" and "Dystopian" do not do justice to what I have been seeing out there since early 2020. I no longer have any trust whatsoever in our medical personnel. I used to assume that their profession required a certain IQ level. I assumed they would naturally have the ability to analyze what was occurring, then use available non-political information to arrive at an informed response. WOW, was I wrong. Their willingness to parrot the pronouncements from "Public Health Officials," and the vociferousness with which they do it, is simply stunning. As you have noted, you can present them with actual RCTs, even meta-analyses of past RCTs, and they will tell you that you are not qualified to interpret them. I even had a physician (former friend) tell me that he hates the internet because people think they understand medicine now, and he wishes they would quit looking at stuff and just listen to him. Finally, what really galls me is the assumption by these people that I am intellectually incapable of understanding or making decisions about this SCAM. I don't trust IQ tests, but I can easily get Mensa membership, and most of them cannot.
