Comrade: ESG is a demoralized social credit system.
ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. Each pillar has nothing to do with the other, but they are bundled together to advance The Great Reset: GAE/WEF/CCP “private public partnership” fascism. According to ESG ratings, FTX had a higher score than Exxon, which had a higher score than Tesla. DEI is but a small billion-dollar subsidiary of the “S” in ESG, which in total is now a trillion-dollar industrial complex. “Sustainability” means higher costs, lower quality, and wealth transfer to leftist interests.
Almost every serious investor has ridiculed ESG. Marc Andreessen cheekily shared the book above. Elon called it the devil and Satanic. Peter Thiel equated it to the CCP. Warren Buffet voted against ESG/DEI reporting for his companies. Even the fraudulent “next Warren Buffet” SBF/FTX called it a “dumb game about saying the right shibboleths”. However, unelected Obergrupenfuhrers at Blackrock, Davos, and the UN will continue to push it from the top down. Legions of commissars want to make money off the doing well while doing good grift. Like vultures to carrion, McKinsey consultants have also swooped in to feast on the fees:
NYU Professor Aswath Damodaran, known as the “Dean of Valuation”, had the most scathing takedown of the charade:
“I find the purveyors of ESG to be among the most sanctimonious and arrogant twits (and you can quote me on that) on the face of the earth, convinced that they have the right definition of good, that they will thrust down the throats of everyone else. The ESG measurement services, in my view, are a charade, measuring neither goodness nor risk, but they have real effects, since companies take consequential actions to improve these scores.”
