I remember the "global cooling" panic of the 1970s. When the "global warming" nonsense started, I figured it was more environmentalist than science. Does the climate change over time? Yes. it is a cyclical pattern of warming and cooling that isn't new. Does human activity affect climate? Maybe a little, but not catastrophically. Do we need to be better stewards of the planet? Yes. But mostly so we can live long enough to enjoy its beauty. It doesn't need saving.

like reusing whatever is reusable, and not buying plastic cups to use at home, where there is glassware. avoid chemicals if you can use natural products (both cleaning and medicine). avoid drivng around unnecessarily. Combine trips to town saves time and money.

Right. It doesn't have to be complicated. Use less, waste less, share more.

I remember a magazine cover -LIFE or National Geographic maybe, the article had earnest, scientists and hyperbole spouting citizens touting an apocalyptic Ice Age soon to happen. I think there might’ve been a few movies as well.

I started in the National Wildlife Federation getting Ranger Rick in the early 70’s. I remember the coming of the next ice age! Now the warmers have to omit the 70’s data to show warming. Sorry, CLIMATE CHANGE. Can we all start reminding people, weather is not climate?

human hybris. they think they can foresee what the climate will be in 20 or 30 or 100 years and they cannot predict the weather for tonight. I will believe a person if he or she can predict the weather right for 14 consecutive days. I usually only believe my animals. Dog and cat go out in pouring rain - it will rain too long to hold. they sit at door staring at the rain - rain will stop soon.

Well, how's that for a coincidence? I just posted a Substack concerning media's ling history of lies and distortions. Some are the same as Yuri's, some different.

I believe George Floyd was a hoax, not that he didn't die. It was a setup waiting to happen, an opportunity that the communist mob had been eyeing for a while. I'm not a medical professional but my instincts tell me that he died from his overdosing of fentanyl and probably other drugs. Pain killers can immobilize any sort of tissue, not to mention cardiac. I'm still on the fence regarding the way he was held down on the ground with the police officer's knee.

Seems like, as the long video showed, he was held down when he should have been placed in a police car in handcuffs. The most disturbing one I remember, was Eric Garner. Guy wasn’t doing jack squat. Those cops fkd up. It’s on camera.

John Kerry: Isn't it terrible to be bought and to know, because your conscience compels you, that everything you are supposed to convince people of is a lie. The result I suppose is that one eventually cannot know the difference between the truth and a lie. Soul destroying!

Re John Kerry,

A comment yesterday pushed me to look up the circumstances of his death (as it happened quite close to my town)--and because now I am a card-carrying tin-foil hat wearer, I wondered whether that crash was planned. There is a weird unlikeliness about the situation. I really need to start listening to Alex Jones (but I don't have the time to hang onto podcasts)--reading goes much faster.

I agree! Reading is much better, intellectually.

If I listen to video or audio, I've trained myself to listen at 1,5 — 2.0 speed. Another problem with video or audio is it chews data rapidly.

Old Alex, a pioneer of exposing conspiracy. Take my hat off to him. Another person I consulted a lot in the old days was Texe Marrs, Power of Prophecy.
