WARNING: Today’s post is an extra spicy satirical MSM article from a fictional parallel universe. It attempts to answer the question - What would have unfolded if the roles were reversed in the Matt Petgrave / Adam Johnson “freak accident”? Since this story involves an American and a Canadian, I am honored to co-author and cross-post with crazed Canuck John Carter. This is one of the most egregious cases of narrative subversion and gaslighting we have ever seen.

Part 1: Fact-based summary
During a hockey game on October 28, Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson died from a slit throat after Sheffield Steelers defender Matt Petgrave collided into him with his skate blade raised 6 feet into the air. MSM and hockey officials immediately called it a “freak accident”. They not only condemned and blocked anyone who disputed the narrative, but also portrayed Petgrave as the victim of racist hate speech. Active hockey players, including several of Johnson’s and Petgrave’s teammates, have either regurgitated that narrative or remained silent.
On November 14, South Yorkshire police arrested Petgrave for manslaughter. He was released on bail. BBC did not mention his name in the headline or article, while Dexerto used a stock photo of a white person in handcuffs. The night before, fans gave Petgrave a standing ovation to show their support for him. Only a few retired hockey players like Chris Thieren had voiced concern that it was an intentional violent act, not an accident. Elmo Aittola, Petgrave’s former coach said: "I had a very negative impression of him. He has no respect for himself or his opponents. He used to get into a bit of a mess. He is a very dirty player… if there's one player I'm willing to believe could use his skates to stop an opponent, I think Matt Petgrave could do it. He is an extremely reckless player.”
Part 2: Our commentary
In a sane world, justice is blind. Investigations and trials should be completed without interference or pressure. The media should report facts and avoid inflaming tensions with a biased narrative. A crime is a crime, regardless of race. Nothing will bring Adam Johnson back. No one except Matt Petgrave knows what his intent was. MSM took a bad situation and made it worse. As we have seen in many clown world race hoaxes, the MSM playbook is to drive a narrative that pushes their desired outcome in the court of public opinion before the police and courts complete their due process. The UK is a country where grooming gangs and terrorists were allowed to rape and kill children because authorities and the media did not want to be labelled racist. We are more likely to be banned from visiting the UK for writing this piece than known terrorists.
Please keep Adam Johnson’s family in your prayers over Thanksgiving. Not only did they have to endure watching him die, but they are also being gaslighted. Hug your loved ones extra hard because you never know when it might be the last one. Tragically, Johnson’s girlfriend revealed in her eulogy that she found out he was planning to propose by discovering a ring in his belongings after he passed away. His aunt Kari Johnson said: "It was very reckless. I just want them [authorities investigating] to get it right. We are looking for justice for Adam.”

Johnson jailed in Belmarsh; NHL weighs cancelling remainder of season after mostly peaceful protests erupt around the world
Police in England have arrested white Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson for the murder of Black Sheffield Steelers defenseman Matt Petgrave. Johnson killed Petgrave by intentionally kicking his throat with a skate blade during an Elite Ice Hockey League game on October 28. Blood gushed all over the ice, shocking players and 8,000 fans. Petgrave received emergency treatment at the rink before being taken to Sheffield's Northern General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Johnson is being held without bail in solitary confinement at maximum security Belmarsh prison. A Minnesota native, he is awaiting extradition to the United States for DOJ hate crime enhancements alongside Julian Assange. Johnson’s lawyers declined to comment. His family has disavowed him after activists discovered that Johnson liked several of Elon Musk’s Tweets. The video of the murder has been viewed over 50 million times on X after US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted it along with the slogan “No justice, no peace. #DECOLONIZEHOCKEY”
Johnson was the league’s most penalized player, logging 129 infractions in 54 games. He was ejected from two games for abuse of officials and alleged spearing. Many active professional and amateur hockey players have spoken out against Johnson. One of Petgrave’s former Pittsburgh Penguins teammates posted on X: “All the guys in the locker rooms know Johnson is a dirty player. He had the most penalty minutes in the league and has made dangerous moves before. Anyone hockey player who has seen the video with their own eyes knows that your leg never lifts that high accidentally. It’s obvious manslaughter, potentially murder.”
National Hockey League Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Kim Davis (she/her) issued a statement on behalf of the league. In memory of Petgrave, she has mandated anti-racism training, kneeling before games, and BLM/LGBTQ patches on uniforms. She has convened a DEI committee to evaluate the potential cancellation of the season until all NHL players, coaches, and staff are as diverse as the NBA and NFL. To protect our Democracy, the NHL has reached out to Elon Musk to deplatform all right-wing misinformation that this was a “freak accident”, and to the Biden administration to deport all white Russian hockey players.
Davis declared: “Matt Petgrave is a hero like George Floyd. He will accelerate our progress for the NHL to become the most vibrant, diverse sports league in the world.” NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman concurred with Davis, emphasizing “Yas Kween Kim!”
“Make no mistake. This was a racist, bigoted, cold-blooded murder. Hate has no home in England,” stated Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London. He has pushed several policy changes in response to the murder. Among them are a ban on hockey skates, mandating neck guards, and re-instituting the death penalty for hate crimes. Khan has expanded the scope of hate crimes to include the one Johnson committed, complaining about Palestinian flags or protestors defacing monuments, and saying “it’s okay to be white”. He claimed that banning guns and knives while keeping the borders open has made London safer and more vibrant. Expert Nicola Lacey, professor of law, gender and social policy at LSE, believes that it was a clear case of murder although she had not seen the video.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau echoed the solidarity: “Matt Petgrave is a Canadian hero. We will honour his memory with a statue on Parliament Hill. University of Ottawa Ethnic Studies professors have selected the statue of Sir John A. MacDonald to be removed and melted down, so that it can be reformed into a new statue of Petgrave.” Furthermore, Trudeau announced plans to convert all of Canada’s hockey rinks into refugee housing and replace hockey with cricket as Canada’s national sport. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland added that unacceptable fringe minorities who protest against these decisions will have their bank accounts frozen.
Thousands of mostly peaceful protestors gathered in Sheffield, London, and every American city regardless of whether it has an NHL team. BLM Founder Patrice Cullors and Reverend Al Sharpton flew to Sheffield in a private jet to lead the marches. Many Foot Lockers, Targets, and small businesses were looted but the bookstores remained untouched. The Petgrave family has hired Ben Crump, who won a $34 million settlement for George Floyd’s family. At a press conference, he held up an ice skate and shouted “Whether it’s a white cop’s knee or white athlete’s skate, we must end white supremacy! Justice will prevail.”
Acclaimed author and director of the Center for Anti-Racist Research at Boston University Ibram X. Kendi penned a thought-provoking counterfactual op-ed in the New York Times entitled “Black Ice”:
What would have happened if a white man had been killed by a Black man? For weeks after, all we would have heard would have been that Black bodies had no place on the white ice. The Black man would have been arrested on the spot without any investigation, and convicted in the court of public opinion before he stood trial, and when he was lynched in the court of law as the racist jury would surely do, there would be a standing ovation in the stands at the news. The racist media would have thrown the white man’s body in front of everyone’s faces like a bloody shirt 24/7, reinforcing the stereotype that Black men are intransitively violent. In contrast, we all see how this white murderer is being treated with kid’s gloves, being given every possible consideration, media and politicians barely acknowledging his name, pretending like this murder was a regrettable death, an accident that ‘just happened’ for no reason, because after all, all he done was to dispose of another Black body.

The satire about how the counterfactual scenario would play out was pretty accurate, except that you made Ibram Kendi sound far more rational and articulate than he actually is. If you write in the voice of Kendi in the future, I would suggest that you first inhale paint thinner for about 10 minutes and maybe get a heavyweight boxer to hit you in the head a few times, just to get yourself in a sufficiently retarded frame of mind. Once you're drooling on yourself and having trouble remembering your own name, you should be able to write with logic reminiscent of the great anti[white]racist doctor. But otherwise, you pretty much nailed it! This is what "decolonized" hockey looks like!
