They are so SURE of themselves no matter whether provided unassailable proof otherwise. Regardless of the SUREcumstance they will call for cenSUREship.

The combination of ignorance and arrogance is dangerous....but it will also be their downfall.

The reality is they're scared shitless. Profound weakness.

They're afraid of a real inSUREction. You can be SURE of that...:]

No, they are NOT sure of themselves. They are so unsure that they must silence anyone who even lightly pushes against their belief system, lest it collapse.

I'm reading a book, "The Rape of the Mind", by Joost Meerloo. It discusses why groups of people will align with unbelievable beliefs for no other reason than a need to belong and feel accepted.

That's the joke.

Boycott the EU and the UK. Spend your holiday dollars elsewhere, like Argentina, Hawaii or other places of great interest. Big world out there.

The US National Parks are the definition of magnificent freedom.

Except when DC shuts them down…

Then you go anyway and have the park to yourself.

How ‘merican of you to think that way - LOL.

Hey - they are our parks. Not the federal governments.

I used to feel some compassion for the situation the Europeans got themselves into. They tried to commit suicide twice in the 20th century, and my government was only too happy to help them do it and take advantage of them. Then I saw a European on X - probably a Brit but whatever - respond to Josie the Red-Headed Libertarian, who posted the Declaration of Independence in response to this letter from the Eurofascist. He responded with "Screw your freedom of expression. We don't want your racism here." Okay then. I'm done with you. Go fuck yourselves, and enjoy your gulag. You voted for it. You built it. You can live in it.

Am I being unfair? Sure. Is the situation much more complex? Definitely. But I don't care anymore. Sometimes an event happens where you just have to throw up your hands and say "I'm done. I'm out. Good bye." I'm there.

Thierry writes like Marcel Proust, endless sentences that are absolutely tedious to plow through.

I don’t always get to read your posts the day they are available, but I’m always glad to have been able to catch up. Another great post - thanks, Yuri!

Btw, just happened to read today’s in my cherished sleep shirt that says “Fuck You, You Fucking Fuck” ~ given to me as a bday gift from my husband & inspired by a t-shirt worn by the character Lisbeth Salander in 2011’s film, “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.” A t-shirt creed that represents my daily subversion of subversion.

"Thierry Breton is the unelected ..."

Let's stop saying this. It implies that if he was "elected", like Keir Starmer or Justin Trudeau, or any of the other tyrants of our time, he might be justified in his behavior. This is the idea that has to be disposed of, and as soon as possible, the almost universally accepted concept that the "legitimate" PTB can do practically anything they want. There are endless quotes about the tyranny of the majority from Aristotle to Benjamin Franklin to Gandhi to contemporary thinkers, but the masses of people still consider it to be unobjectionable. If we can change people's perception in this area, it will be a huge victory.

Love your stuff. However, I'd make a small amendment to your bit about the Zuck: instead of "... hedge your bets", i think "... cover your ass", would be a more accurate translation. Otherwise, it's all lovely.

X is an American company subject to American laws. They should close all non-US offices. X is available via Starlink. If the EUSSR wants to stop Starlink too, they can ask the Russians... Oh yeah, they screwed themselves there, too.

Forgive my ad-hominosity here, I can’t help it. What’s up with these guys and their hairdos??? Blinken. Slick Willy. Kerry. Sissyboy Thierry the commie fairy. Are they trying to make themselves attractive to little boys? Or Karens? What a bunch of friendless losers. Too bad for them The Hairclub for Men isn’t a real club.

I still ask why we can't flip the script and hit the Euroweenies with a 1A civil rights lawsuit, hit them with damages, and then put out a warrant for their arrest when they don't pay.

I know there's some "same team" action here and one of the Iron Rules of Authority is that authority respects other authority (Americans thought Hitler was kewl until he declared war on us), but still.

I don't think the Karens meant that kind of "pussy" with their pussy hats, but it fits.
