Comrades: I am excited to host friend and talented writer Sheluyang Peng on newly named ANTI-Demoralization Zone podcast.
Sheluyang published a heartwarming piece in The Free Press about his family’s church in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. He is the first Zoomer I have hosted on this podcast and it is also the first time he has done a podcast. We share many common threads between our heritage, parents who fled the CCP, and attending Demoralized DIEvy League universities. In today’s podcast, we will banter about what it was like growing up in a unique Brooklyn neighborhood, how his parents grew their congregation, the state of “elite” education, and how Zoomers can find faith.
